The Walk Unafraid Foundation, in collaboration with One Resilient Earth, is proud to announce the launch of a new community initiative to address climate-related anxiety and stress with monthly online Community Climate Circles. This free public initiative offers a vital mental health resource for individuals grappling with the emotional impacts of climate change.
The virtual circles, facilitated by creative activist and empowerment coach, Gabrielle Senza, take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month and are intended to be a supportive space for anyone feeling overwhelmed or alone in their concern for the future. The emotional toll of extreme weather events, environmental degradation, and rapid climate change is real and profound. It affects our mental and physical health, as well as our relationships and our ability to envision or work towards solutions.
The budget for the 2024 pilot program is $5000, and we are looking for a handful of community partners at the following levels:
- Lead Sponsor: Climate Champion – $2,500 (1 available)
- Exclusive recognition as the Lead Sponsor
- Prominent logo placement on all event materials and website
- Special mention during each session and in press releases
- Opportunity to give a brief welcome message at one session
- Major Sponsor: Sustainability Advocate – $1,000 (2 available)
- Recognition as a Major Sponsor
- Logo placement on event materials and website
- Mention in press releases and newsletter
- Supporting Sponsor: Green Guardian – $500
- Recognition as a Supporting Sponsor
- Logo placement on event materials and website
- Mention in newsletter
- Contributing Sponsor: Eco Ally – $250
- Recognition as a Contributing Sponsor
